Save the Planet !! We are here..

The Environmental Event Day was a pivotal moment for our students to deepen their understanding and commitment to environmental protection. Recognizing the increasing urgency of climate issues, such as forest fires and floods impacting the Vancouver region, we felt it was our responsibility to provide students with the knowledge and awareness necessary to foster a sense of environmental stewardship.

The event featured two distinguished guests from the Youth Climate Corps British Columbia (YCCBC), who brought a wealth of expertise and insight into current environmental challenges and solutions. They engaged students with impactful presentations and discussions, highlighting the root causes of climate disruptions and illustrating the steps individuals and communities can take to mitigate their effects. Their powerful stories and real-world examples underscored the importance of proactive action and community involvement in addressing these pressing issues. Throughout the event, students learned about the interconnectedness of human activities and natural ecosystems, gaining a deeper appreciation for their role in promoting sustainable practices. The session emphasized the need for collective action and inspired students to think critically about how they could contribute to environmental protection efforts in their own lives.

The event concluded with a call to action, encouraging students to apply what they learned by making mindful choices and engaging in community initiatives focused on sustainability. Overall, the Environmental Event Day was a resounding success, fostering awareness, sparking meaningful dialogue, and empowering students to become informed advocates for environmental change in their communities.
